ARTIST STATEMENT
Darkness. Total darkness. The absolute unknown. Are you afraid? Are you curious? That is what this should make you feel. This world should be filled with danger and unknown. This takes place inside a complex soul. A soul that only very few have been able to touch. To see. To comprehend. A soul that is cold yet has the ability to be warm. This soul is broken leaving itself drowning in secrets and engulfed with darkness but also could be bright with a twist or whole with itself unaware of its doings. Have you ever loved someone so much you just wanted to know all of their secrets? This is a soul that doesn’t know the true meaning of passion and trust. What is passion? Is it something you can only feel? Is it too complex? What is trust? Loyalty? The act of keeping a promise? Your curiosity is what leads you to the truth but also your own demise. We all have doors we want to be kept closed but maybe there is someone that can open them. This is a complex soul with many secrets just like you and I but what is up for interpretation is just how complex this soul truly is.
